Straight answers about drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer cameras, repair, cost and emergencies.

FAQ

Getting started

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Estimates for cleaning and repair are free and come with no obligation. Camera inspections are quoted upfront.

What areas do you serve?

Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet and more. See the service areas page for the full list.

Do you serve homes and businesses?

Both. We clean and repair drains and sewers for homes, apartment communities, restaurants, retail and commercial buildings.

Do you offer emergency service?

Yes. We answer calls around the clock for backups and overflows.

FAQ

Clogs and cleaning

Why does my drain keep clogging?

Often buildup remains on the pipe walls after a quick fix, or a sag, root or break is contributing. Hydro jetting and a camera inspection find and fix the cause.

What is the difference between snaking and hydro jetting?

A cable machine opens a path through a clog. A hydro jetter scours the whole pipe wall with high-pressure water. Many jobs use both.

Are chemical drain cleaners safe?

They can damage some pipes and are hazardous to handle. We recommend mechanical cleaning instead.

How do I know if the main line is clogged?

Several fixtures drain slowly at once, toilets gurgle when other drains run, or the lowest drain in the house backs up.

FAQ

Camera inspection

What does a sewer camera show?

Roots, grease, cracks, offsets, bellies, collapsed sections and the pipe material. You get the video and our notes.

Do I need an inspection before buying a home?

Many agents and inspectors recommend one, because the buried sewer line is among the costliest parts of a home to repair.

Can the camera find where the pipe is?

Yes. A transmitter lets us mark the route and depth on the ground.

FAQ

Repair and replacement

How do I know if my sewer line needs replacement?

Frequent clogs, odors, wet yard spots and camera footage showing cracks, collapse or sags are the signs. Cleaning alone cannot fix a broken pipe.

What is trenchless repair?

Methods like pipe lining and pipe bursting that renew a sewer line through small access points instead of a long trench.

How long do repairs take?

A spot repair can take a day. Lining or bursting is often one to two days, and full replacement takes longer.

Do I need a permit?

Often yes. We handle permit coordination for repairs.

FAQ

Cost and timing

How much does drain cleaning cost?

It depends on the drain, the access and the method. Use the Cost Estimator for a planning range, and we give an exact price before we begin.

Do you offer financing?

Ask us about current options. The Cost Estimator shows a sample monthly payment.

Do you charge extra for emergencies?

After-hours rates may apply, and we tell you the price before we start.

FAQ

Prevention

How can I prevent clogs?

Use strainers, keep grease out of the kitchen drain, flush only toilet paper and schedule a camera check for older lines.

What is a backwater valve?

A one-way valve in your sewer line that stops sewage from flowing back into the house when the main surcharges.

Do you offer maintenance plans?

Yes, for homes, restaurants and property managers, with schedules matched to your line.
